> Wall Specifications
Fridge Gallery is located on the fifth floor right beside “The Nest” student lounge. Please note that the dimensions of the wall are approximately 33 ½’ wide by 11’ tall. The windows that are 5’ up the wall cannot be altered or obstructed in any way. Ladder use is also limited. Questions and concerns can be sent to our email or to our technician, Nate McLeod (nate.mcleod@acad.ca).
>About the Selection Process
While we are looking for works related to communications design, you do not need to be an SCD student to apply. During the school year, the Fridge Gallery has time slots for artists to show their work and we put out a call for submissions. If the number of submissions significantly exceed the time slots created, a jury is summoned to meet and select which works to exhibit. Applicants are then informed if they have been chosen or not.
>Why Fridge?

It’s a way for artists to exhibit work and gain experience in setting up spaces. As an AUARTSA group, we are interested in administration of these spaces. Some other galleries around the school include Coven Gallery, Galerie Gaulin, The Creig Gallery, and The Wall Gallery. Check out the ACADSA website for more information!
